Located 1 mile off I-65 on Hwy 60 in Sellersburg, across from JayC Food Store!  With a 15,000 square foot hardware store and 14 acre lumber yard, we have over 30,000 items in stock!  From Dewalt to Stihl, Porter Paints to Ben Moore, and Scotts to Weber; we have something for everyone for every season!  We are your neighborhood lumber, hardware, paint, lawn, electrical, plumbing store!

Opened in 1975 and was known as “Panel-It-Center” merchandising various types and styles of paneling in retail locations including a reformed 2-lane bowling alley, a fruit stand and skating rink.

In 1985, PC Home Center was purchased by its current owner, David Stemler who expanded our product offering to include windows, doors and cabinetry. In 1988, we moved the retail store to the location of 217 East 5th Street in New Albany which now houses PC’s Millshop, a specialized service department for custom woodworking needs.

In November of 1995, the company moved to its current residence of 123 Cherry Street, at the corner of State and Cherry in New Albany as a “Do It Best” retailer and hosted a grand re-opening in April of 1996 with special events and everyday low prices making PC Home Center the largest kitchen, bath, window and door showroom in Kentuckiana.

The Cherry Street location stocks a vast supply of cabinetry, doors, windows, mouldings, trim, grade A lumber, plywood, insulation and siding materials. The largest aspect of our business is special orders providing the customers with specialty home improvement.

PC Home Centers’ primary window and patio door lines are Andersen and Marvin. We also carry Therma Tru entry doors as well as Milligan and Koetter interior doors. Aristokraft, Kraftmade, Shiloh, Kitchen Kompact, and Haas are the cabinetry brands we offer as well as a full line of DoIt Best (formerly “Our Own Hardware”) hardware products, electrical, and plumbing. We also have a huge offering of paints and stains including Benjamin Moore, Valspar, ZAR, Duckback and Minwax.
