LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The beams that stand in place of the Twin Towers in New York City will be arriving in Louisville on Saturday, May 28.
The beams are being transported from Indianapolis by truck and are being escorted by motorcycles. The caravan will meet local motorcyclists in Henryville, Indiana about 10:00 a.m. The group will then escort the truck down Interstate 65 to the Great Lawn in Louisville. Several police, fire and EMS departments will also be helping with the escort. Approximately 150 motorcycles are expected to join the truck with the 9/11 memorial in the ride.
