Louisville, Ky. - Legend has it there are more spirits residing at Buffalo Trace Distillery than just those held in barrels at the warehouses. Most notable is the ghost of Colonel Albert Blanton, according to the popular TV show “Ghost Hunters” ®. Join Bourbon Women on Thursday, April 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a haunted look at the legendary distillery.

This unique tour includes a passed hors d’oeuvres reception, signature cocktails featuring Buffalo Trace bourbon, and a very special grid tasting of Buffalo Trace’s products led by Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley. Cost is $25 for Bourbon Women members and $35 for non-members. Registrants must be at least 21 years old. Space is limited.

Salem, In. - The annual Maple Syrup Festival in at Leane and Michael's Sugarbush will be held February 23 and 24 and March 2 and 3, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Leane and Michael’s Sugarbush is located at 321 N. Garrison Hollow Road, Salem, IN 47167.

The festival includes activities for all ages – food served all day, FREE tours of our syrup making operation, Native American and pioneer demonstrations of maple syrup making, our store with 2013  pure maple syrup to purchase (and a large variety of other items), many children’s activities and games, mule drawn wagon rides, craft vendors, live music and more. 

There is NO parking fee or entrance fee for the festival! We take all major credit cards in the store and dining room. Listed below are the activities and prices from the 2012 festival.

LOUISVILLE, KY - For the first time, Louisville Slugger® will introduce its all-new, reinvented 2013 bat product line simultaneously at 67 locations nationwide. The complete line of bats can be seen at the Louisville Slugger Museum on Saturday February 9th between 12 - 4 p.m.

The baseball line-up includes the Attack, Exogrid3 and Omaha Balanced models featuring innovative technologies like flex-band and the patented T2 breakthrough for 2-piece composite bats. These bats are being swung by the best players in baseball at every age level, including Louisville Slugger’s many collegiate programs like UNC, Stanford, Oklahoma, Rice, Florida State, University of Louisville and the defending National Champion Arizona Wildcats.
