Bridge inspections begin on Kennedy Bridge | Transportation

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Inspections begin Monday on the Kennedy Bridge.

Most of the bridge will be inspected by climbing without any impact on traffic. However, single lane closures on Interstate 65 will be necessary when inspectors are using man lifts to access some portions of the bridge.

You can expect the lanes closures the week of October 14 through October 18 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

The inspections should be completed by October 20.
